Re-warmed Leftovers

The quest begins in earnest. The party headed East to their first travellers’ temple. As the group travelled, you could see small groups of people kitted out with the same wagon as yours. Along the way, it was easy to hear the topic of conversation; all over the region, the travellers’ temples started to have a glow emanating the words on the back wall. After passing through yet another small and non-descript village, you came to a clearing in a copse of trees. In the middle of the clearing stood a building made of walls shaped from one big stone. The clearing and the building were in good repair. You know immediately as a “travelers’ temple” and it is well cared-for due to the widespread belief that performing upkeep will bring luck and curry favor with the gods. You step inside and see some glowing Draconic words and images on the wall across from the door.

After copying both the words and the images, and dusk started to fall, you hear rustling outside. In peeking through the windows, You see some human skeletons, a war horse skeleton and a zombie. With great effort, you defeat the undead horde. You find among the dead: three sets of armor, three long swords, rusty barding for the horse and the zombie with the gaping neck wound. Thinking in safety in numbers, you backtrack to the village. The only business you can find is the blacksmith.
